DESCRIPTION:
The Infantry Cross is awarded for any act(s) of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy on land. This is the equivalent of the British "Military Cross" medal.
The Navy Cross is awarded for any act(s) of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy at sea. This is the equivalent of the British "Military Cross" medal.
Both are awarded by the Generals of the 101st Airborne Division.
